Tilmaicamin®

Description

Composition: 

Each ml Tilmaicamin ®  contains 250 mg Tilmaicosin as phosphate.

Mechanism of Action:

Tilmaicosin a macrolide antibiotic, binding to 50s subunit at the ribosomal level to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis, it leads to death of bacteria. Tilmaicosin reaches to the its therapeutic dose in target tissues (especially in tissues with low PH such as lungs and alveolis) after 6 hours and remained up to 48 hours. In addition aggregation of Tilmaicosin in macrophage and hetrophils, it has effects on pathogens.

Target Animal:

Poultry (Broiler and Pullets)

Indication: 

Treatment and prevention from respiratory infections in poultry due to Mycoplasma Gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviea, Ornithobacterium Rhinotheracheale, Pasteurella Multocida and other germs that sensitive to Tilmaicosin. Tilmaicosin is a homogenous concentrated liquid soluble in water easily. It doesn’t make problems such as tube obstruction, reducing solubility and incompatibility with other element.

Dosage and Administration:

Broilers: A 60 ml bottle in 200 Liters of drinking water for 3 consecutive days. If necessary the treatment with the same dose in 24 hours can be repeated.

Contraindication:

Do not use in laying hens while producing eggs for human consumption and do not use for horses.

Interaction: 

None.

Withdrawal Period: 

Broilers: 12 days before slaughter.

Precautions:

-To prevent skin hurt; use gloves. If it contacts with skin wash it with water.

-Do not inject the medicine.

Storage: 

Keep in dry and cool place (under 30 °C) and keep away from direct sun and freezing.
